good morning good morning thank you for that good morning students parents Guardians and caregivers I'd like to welcome you all to the Windham Middle School's end-of-the-year promotion ceremony for our 8th graders my name is Greg Arnold Stein and I Windham Middle School today we come together to celebrate our current 8th graders accomplishments the dedication of our staff and all of the support that all of our parents Guardians caregivers and family joining us today having spent only this last year with these days graters I can easily say they are absolutely one of the most diversify and energetic bunch of students Evermore is we hear a wmsr given these students successful experiences activities and learning opportunities on the basis of their lifelong journey going forward what school is a Launchpad into adulthood and my home is all of you will continue to learn and grow as you grow or where she meant leadership in and out her school activities and above all else the core values of Integrity respect and responsibility we are a community is invested in seeing students succeed miss school and Beyond I am honored to be the principal of this grade school with wonderful students and a dedicated and staring choose excuse me caring staff we will recognize many students individually yep all students should feel recognition from their teachers as well as from his roof and myself for all of your hard work and accomplishments over the last three years now I would like to know her Awards recognizing who ever earned at the Eagle Award award are being recognized for their individual accomplishments by one of their teachers the Eagle Award stresses the importance of good citizenship excellent Khan. and goes above and beyond with her work in Behavior expectations she is an incredible student she is consistently hardworking and striving for the best and she had case for herself whenever it's needed and truly pushes herself to learn I know that she is capable of anything she sets her mind to and will go far in life has truly been a pleasure having her in science class she is always offering to help others in class teachers and within our community she has the kindest soul I have been this year from this is DuPont Shay is one of the hardest-working students I've met she cares about her call for school work almost as much as she cares about her friends she is an upstander when she sees something she helps others learning and teaching concept students that may be struggling she is kind courteous and a health and human from Mr Casey Shea supports the classroom environment in general and help piercing gauges are left for these and other reasons we are pleased to present the secretary state's 8th grade Citizenship Award Shay Carey at this time I would like to call one of our very own staff members mizinga Burger King on stage good morning I am honored to recognize three amazing amazing Educators for their contributions to our students and the community here are our retirees this year Joni Thomas Bicknell for two years with us Peter Cullen for 25 years when do you say Maynard for 38 years Unfortunately they couldn't join us this morning as we were hoping that we wish them all the best in their next chapter no I would like to read a poem that embodies our talent and recognizes their dedication and hard work for each student they have taught along the way teachers sides parallel Edmonds teachers probably stay in front of the class with knowledge I'm glad I'm not igniting a flame in curious minds proficiently as the lessons unwind teaching a calling that burns deep inside to instruct thirsty inquisitive installing passion that leads to success inspiring pupils to give of their best encouraging Scholars creative gifts praising applauding whatever it is the sword hot well live well get a head start of the teachers it has to be said it doesn't go unnoticed the work involved developing grey people to evolve nurturing teachers out there thank you for all your Compassionate Care so to go on to find their hopes and dreams remember the teachers But I hope that when you look in the mirror we don't see a young and secure child with the amateur teenager whose they are safe and those are love being older I learn to enjoy things I want haven't heard before advocate office door I like how I feel comfortable anymore my heart has an open door but for all of us responsibility has gotten opportunities older Where Do We Begin our whole life has been writing while I'm still not completely prepared for next year I'm still scared of being older all of our Pathways aren't quite clear but I am sure we get there I know we will be bolder at this time I would like to introduce Windham High School's principal mr. Ryan Cameron good morning I just want to take a few minutes to congratulate you on this death welcome you to the high school because we're looking forward to working with all of you we heard a lot of great things about bedroom and we're looking forward to working with you everything about this girl I'm going to get in ball high school we got a lot of things going on try something new we have the first week of school have an activities Fair will be table set-up all the different things we can do all the different athletic opportunities clubs we have probably 30 clubs different things going on if there's something that you're interested in doing we don't have a club that covers at start my club we've had over the past couple of years we started a chess club activities alternative Sports Club some of those things have gone all the way to start with kids coming out of the Middle School to Varsity Sports we have any sports team now that few years ago kids came and said it would like to have an opportunity to do some Esports at school and that expanded to a place where now we have a varsity team Varsity letters based on student interest so when you come here in the fall the involve athletic questions Good Morning Baltimore spiritual a high school graduations on on the work she done so far thank you mr.
