text message Wendell Middle School spring concert at we have a lot of different variety of using for you this evening a lot of different groups please bear with us because we'll have some changing the extra changing over of the guard and I will get it moving as fast as we can I'm working violin and the music director at when the middle school first day of 6th grade Orchestra and you're going to play for you Ode to Joy af1 low can I play for you as just extraterrestre and then after that way to add a whole bunch of students to have 6th 7th and 8th grade on stage after Chester I like to have the 6th 7th and 8th grade as for the sixth grade because next year they'll be playing in 7th and 8th grade Orchestra this is the 7th and 8th grade Orchestra we're going to play a bass what I like next East is called a soldier's him and I only had a dedication of this piece of one of our students fell out of on Saturday is going to talk with you just for a moment. That dedication daughter's name is a piece that reflects the essence and beauty of a true soldier soldier is defined as someone who fights for what they believe in who cares soap the most loved someone you look up to on behalf of this. I am incredibly honored to say that we dedicate this song to mrs. Lee Leroy mrs. Leroy was one of the to help teachers at her school on the morning of December 13th 2018 Miss Leroy passed away unexpectedly everybody needs someone going to like to talk to you to care for them to support them and the slave from any mrs. Leary was that for is there as a type of person that can brighten your day just by smiling at you she would always go out of her way to say hello and goodbye to every student that passed her being her kind of help and always selflessly a day have a good day can't wait to see you tomorrow it's just the type of person she was for myself and many others this is Leroy I always make sure we have a smile on her face or made us laugh to make us feel better she was is there a made a point that she was there for every student she left she always put other people before herself that being another Incredibles that was characteristic of hers mister I wasn't over all optimistic and cheerful person never end the time that I knew her do I need anything less than a smile on her face words can never explain when the amazing and powerful woman she was she was so beautiful inside and out with the best personalities you could ever meet I believe that words can fail at expressing feelings and that is why we have to dedicate that's why we have dedicated to show are so close and share with you Richard Beauty and death in this clearing with this song I think music is so powerful and so wonderful that making you feel many emotions I think it's pretty amazing that this is Leroy I think the challenges they sell for nine others of the orchestra play Funkadelic music pretty extraordinary 2 once again I say that we are incredibly proud and honored to play this versus the year I met her outstanding self rest in peace and her beauty and Angelic Soulfly hat what is the 6th grade band and obviously they just play the theme from Star Wars the next piece for them is the Royal Tower patient play a claim this is the 7th and 8th grade band and it is play their first piece for you has three movements so please hold a 5 until the very end in a second movement there are some soloists you can see in your program a quick note about that piece that you just heard it was written by a Manor someone who teaches in the Yarmouth School District Rodger Hornsby is from me and he just made and obviously he's got quite a few cases for a band and Jazz Band the next case that were going to play for you is Pirates of the Caribbean 8th graders from Orchestra and band up here and later you're going to hear just the 8th graders record students will be heading on out to high school after the year I've really enjoyed getting to know all these guys and all the 8th grade chorus students and honestly will miss them very much so engines of resistance Tak chorus is going to sing this is me I was walking on sunshine is here in town and this next one had a few soloist so check out your program for that come in from the Firefly Darkness I'm looking forward to those days soon in summer time so far I have ever seen their last on TV I just wanted to thank a few people first Darryl Mauro on Piano thank you so much I want to thank a few staff members who helped out with corralling children couldn't do without them so mrs. McBride as well as what time is it mr.
