Creative problem solving is an important part of everyday life that we are not always taught at school. However, Windham Middle School (WMS) Odyssey of the Mind students are working on creative problem-solving skills that will help them later in their life. After competing in the Odyssey of the Mind Nor'easter Tournament, the team placed first in their division, which qualified them for an invitation to the Odyssey of the Mind World Finals at Iowa State University from May 27 to May 30.

Please join us for the opening of the 2026 RSU14 Student Art Show! Monday, May 4th from 5-8pm at Windham High School.

Students in Cory DiDonato's class at WMS have been studying Ancient Greece and part of that is learning about the city-states Athens & Sparta. After learning about the differences between Athens and Sparta, they created a rap or poem to represent their learning. This project challenged their creativity, while also helping them understand the key differences between the two city-states. Click the headline for a link to the video.

Windham Middle School (WMS) Altitude students took a trip to the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital to donate books that they had collected on Nov. 25. This is the fourth annual book drive that the Altitude program has done for the Children’s Hospital, and this year, Altitude collected 132 books.

RSU14's Snow Day Tracker is now available on the district home page under the District Info/RSU14 School Year Calendar tab. It shows the current number of snow days taken and the updated last day of school.
